How we make money from ChattySkin

We don’t. Not yet, anyway.

We’re keeping two options open, and we’d rather tell you now than surprise you later:

• Brands talking about their products here. If we ever allow it, every post will be labelled “Promoted” and kept separate from your rooms. Brands will never pose as members, and they’ll never see who you are.
• Reports on what people say about products. For example: “which products people with oily T-zones say suit them”. These would only use data from people who chose to include theirs, grouped and with names removed, so no one can be picked out. That’s why we ask whether you want your data included.

What we’ll never do: sell your personal data. That means your name, your messages, your readings, anything that could identify you, or anything from under-18s. Your selfies never leave your phone in the first place. This is part of our agreement with you, not just a promise on a web page.

If we decide to do either of the things above, we’ll tell you before it starts, and you can change your data choice at any time.
